At the Rao kitchen table sat Ted & Karen Rao, Chuck & Mary Weber and Rick & Becky Faulk. That prayer meeting resulted in our resolve to take a leap of faith.
We really had no idea what it would grow into … or it if would grow at all.
Rick has earned his Masters in Divinity and his Ph.D. in Psychology. He has also served as Pastoral Counselor and in leadership in many churches over the years. His experience in healing and prophetic ministry dates back since the early 70's. He and his wife, Becky, have a passion for teaching and leading marriage classes. Through these courses, marriages have been changed and couples report dramatic improvement in their relationships. Rick and Becky live in Sugar Land and have 3 grown children.

We felt as if we were Christians without a home and that there were others out there, just like us. What If --- a small group of believers who (for one reason or another were not attending church anywhere), decided to gather together? What If --- we all gathered in the Name of Jesus and began to worship in the freedom of the Holy Spirit?
What If -- we made it a priority to uplift the name of the Lord together? Praise His Name together? Fellowship with our brothers and sisters? What if --- we: remember the Poor, Widows, Orphans, Prisoners, Sick, Hungry, Thirsty or Naked? What would be the Lord’s response? We expected about 20 people that first Sunday … 75 people walked in the door.
Lighthouse - Ft. Bend was birthed out of a desire to gather in the Name of Jesus and to worship in the freedom of the Holy Spirit.
Our goal is to provide Christian fellowship in a loving family atmosphere. It's not just about Sunday mornings. We do life and serve the Lord together every day.
We are a young church and have begun ministering in the following areas: Children, Youth, Women, Men, Widows, Prisons, and to those who are sick and in need.
