At the Rao kitchen table sat Ted & Karen Rao, Chuck & Mary Weber and Rick & Becky Faulk. That prayer meeting resulted in our resolve to take a leap of faith.
We really had no idea what it would grow into … or it if would grow at all.
Where we meet on Sunday morning is only part of it

We felt as if we were Christians without a home and that there were others out there, just like us. What If --- a small group of believers who (for one reason or another were not attending church anywhere), decided to gather together? What If --- we all gathered in the Name of Jesus and began to worship in the freedom of the Holy Spirit?
What If -- we made it a priority to uplift the name of the Lord together? Praise His Name together? Fellowship with our brothers and sisters? What if --- we: remember the Poor, Widows, Orphans, Prisoners, Sick, Hungry, Thirsty or Naked? What would be the Lord’s response? We expected about 20 people that first Sunday … 75 people walked in the door.
Lighthouse - Ft. Bend was birthed out of a desire to gather in the Name of Jesus and to worship in the freedom of the Holy Spirit.
Our goal is to provide Christian fellowship in a loving family atmosphere. It's not just about Sunday mornings. We do life and serve the Lord together every day.
We are a young church and have begun ministering in the following areas: Children, Youth, Women, Men, Widows, Prisons, and to those who are sick and in need.
One of the things you'll hear from Pastor Ted is "bring it!". We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every true believer and we expect God to move through all of us ... not just the pastors.
